Just tried to cancel mine and was told its ready to be sent out so cant be cancelled. My advice is refuse the parcel when it arrives and they will get them back and be able to give a refund, the other thing i was told is that it can be cancelled from the moment they are ordered untill they are ready for despatch which by coinidence is where mine are at0

I just managed to cancel both my orders (one being a mistake).
At first they said they're probably not on the system yet (without even checking!!), but I politely asked the lady to check anyway saying more than 2 days had elapsed. Both were on their system & she cancelled them within 5 minutes, G

there's NO free lunce in the world0

i have the pans advertised with the knives on thislink. and they were discounted to about £100.00 in another offer. i love those pans so thought that the knives would be the same. guess will have to cancel my order. grrrr. wish i had read rest of the posts before I rushed off to buy.0

I bought these the first time it was posted here and they're still going strong, no problems at all with them, not rusty yet... you quite obviously wouldn't want to be paying over £100 for them and I'm sure a professional chef wouldn't consider them, but I'd say they're a bargain and great quality for £2 each, as long as you're not genuinely expecting a £125 set of knives you shouldn't be disappointed, if you are then I'd cancel......
I think it's probably true about the free lunce, although I've never tried for one personallyyou can however get a free lunch here http://www.lingscars.com/(scroll down and look on the right hand side) a few people here got them I believe (myself included) very nice it was too, and also very amusing....

I bought some grreat knives at tk maxx homewares dept, didnt buy a set, i bought seperates nd for 4 knives it came to about £30, the same knives in debenhams were nearly £80!!!
I douldn't touch these with a barge pole, you get what you pay for as far as I am concerned, shop around.0 -
We got these knives when they were advertised about a year ago - took a while to arrive, but I've been very pleased with them, as has OH (and he's an experienced butcher!) Far better than the Sabatier knives I saved up for.....Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Well knives arrived this morning and i have been very surprised with them having read all the above posts, they are fine if you are looking for basic knives, I got them for the caravan and they will do the job, i don't know how they will be for daily use, but for £9.95 they will do me.
PS The catalogue that came with them had the same knives with two extra for £49.95 + postage.0 -
