I think the model number is DVD3210DVX, the only player that can play DivX..
problems about this player has been discussed here
Would they still sell a model that was recalled? Wonder if the problem has been solved, if it has the Argos catalogue number on it maybe Argos have just sold their stock to Netto

Bought this Dvd Player yesterday, and although it looks great, I spent most the time restarting the dvd as it kept locking up, and I also tried using the DIVX from a download which was the main reason for the purchase, I ended up watching on the computer!
It acted exactly as past comments made,
Wish I had read them before I bought it, Back to Netto I go!

HI
i have i have bought one, it seems it depends on the media you are using, try diferent types as @ 19.99 you cant beat it for divx playback, i have been using tesco own brand dvd+ and it seems to work fine. Also the quality of the encoding of the file seems to matter as well. i Have 2 differerant quality files on the same disc, one played ok and one played badly..
good luck..0 -
Yep, I picked one up too and it has the freezing / black screen problem with DivX files.
