Badly need a DVD player so I'll be there. Thanks for the posting.0
-
That is a very good price for a DIVX player.0
-
can I ask what DivX is ?"The time is always right to do what is right"0
-
Divx is basically just another form of video compression. See link for details.
http://www.divx.com/divx/whatisdivx.php
Just to confuse things it Divx also used to be the name of a form of disc similar to the DVD but is no longer used.0 -
Just wondering which model it is. Looks like this one.

It does look very like that one, but without the HDMI (unfortunately)!
EDIT: If it is the DVD 3210 then it (apparently) can be hacked to multi-region as follows:
Using the remote, open the tray (don't close it yet), press 0 1 2 3 then play. I've not tried this myself, so no promises!
It's very similar to the hack I had for the old Wharfedale DVD-750 years ago, which worked fine.0 -

I think the model number is DVD3210DVX, the only player that can play DivX..
problems about this player has been discussed here0 -
I can confirm that this is the DVD3210DVX - it even has the Argos cat. number 553-3947 as sold in last seasons catalogue on the box.
The product looks like the current Argos Wharfedale (i.e as in the Netto flyer), not the picture in last seasons Argos catalogue"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Bought one today. As far as I am concerned it is on trial after the reviews I have read. Can take it back for a refund if it does not behave.
So far it is fine. I only want it to play films from the hire shop.0
