hi all, you all may remember my post when me and my partner split up in july and the benefits agencies left her and my children high and dry for around 8 weeks with no money.
well i have a few updates,
things didnt run as smooth as she'd hoped it would after her getting IS her ex friends took a grundge and turned it into a vendetta of mass proporsions, they reported her to JCP/HMRC and everyone else they could think of for fraud to screw her money up.
yes i know how it must look me visiting my children every evening but my ex now my partner again, never held a grudge against me and never used my kids as weapons against me during that period so i got to visit as and when i liked.
now to the main question.
i am thinking of moving back in before christmas.
she recieves
Income support, carers allowance,DLA LR mobilty/HR care,HB CTB CTC,CB.
i recieve incopacity benefit LTS rate.
do i claim on my IB for my partner, or do i relinquish my IB?
will i be subject to another medical, ive had on this year an in exempt catagory will i lose this catagory and be subject to another if my partner claims for me and can they send me for a med, i cannot in the world cope with another medical,
what would happen if i claim for her on my IB what if any benefits would she lose?
would it be financially viable for me to move in so soon to christmas if complications arose claiming we do not want to be 6-12 weeks with no cash (holiday period).
i am still at my mums, but long to be with my family now.

You can't put her on your IB. You can keep your IB.
If you move in with your partner, this won't trigger another medical - as it's not a change to your health.
Her income support might be affected, ditto HB and CTB.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

So you were in debt, you split up when presumably your ex would have claimed substantial lone parent benefits, you 'visited' every day and now all problems are resolved and you are wanting to move back again?

Why worry? You've practically moved back in anyway.
Why let money get in the way of being home, legit, with your kids at Christmas eh?0 -
