Three canceled my contract!! Need advice

Three have canceled my contract because they have stopped using Orange as fall back and i have no signal in the area i live.
They have admitted that there is no signal in the area and have said i can cancel 11 months in to my contract,but are asking for the phone back.
Do you think i should send the phone back as i feel i have payed my share for the phone?

This is news to me about them no longer using Orange as a fallback. Do you know who they now use? Anyway, if they are no longer able to provide you with the services for which you are paying, you do not have to send the phone back; it's their loss for being unable to provide the service. They tried the same swindle on me when I cancelled due to them getting rid of Three Like Home.

Bite their hand off!! You are then in a position to get a new handset with one of the big 4. Remember the handset was a free inducement for their air-time.

By all means, hang on to it and argue the toss, whilst paying good money for a contract that you can't use locally if you prefer!!!!!

If the deal is we'll cancel if you return the used handset or you can continue for 13 more months paying £20+ for some airtime you can't use I know what I'd choose.

If it is cancelled by them that's not your fault, you ask for compensation. It could be your phone or the money you spent so far.

what the?!?! i got a three contract not long ago and now my reception has dropped a lot at work, its a bit bad at home as well...this could explain things....

so they are cancelling people's contracts?

If it 12 month contract just see itout, if its 18 or 24 then weigh up the phones value compared to the cost of the remaining months.

Probably best to send back and move on. Dont be greedy, they are letting you out of the contract I suspect at your request, not cancelling it.

Few similar threads on at the moment.

didn`t think the iphone 4 had been out 5 months yet

Yeah sorry I got the phone the end of July and I lost all signal at home and work they unlocked it for me for 15 pound
