The Economy Radiator Company

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has heard of 'the economy radiator company', the reason I ask is that our two bedroom house has two storage heaters downstairs and nothing upstairs so they are next to useless. What this company offers is electric heating that is a cheap alternative to gas installations but with a similar running cost. Now calll me a cynic but it all seems to be a bit too good to be true, and you know what they say if it appears too good to be true it probably is. So has anyone ever heard of these guys or used them and can anyone tell me if there claims are true?

Thanks

Jimmy

The above thread was posted about a year ago.

I was about to place an order with the company and decided to do some more research before spending that amount of money. I saw the thread posted here and this: freeindex.co.uk/profile(kalirel)_39338.htm. The guy they are talking about is the guy I'm about to order from!! What do I do! I've asked the question if there's any kind of money-back gurarantee if the electric bill doesn't go down, and what assurances can he give me that the 10 year guarantee will hold!

It looks so legit but may be too good to be true?

Has anyone else bought these heaters?? Good? Bad???

Thanks. Out.

It's all lies. They will cost the same as any other £20 electric heater with the same KW
  • Has anyone got an update on these heaters?

The word "economy" is still misused! They are expensive and are no cheaper to run than any electric heater of equivalent output.

Look at any of the dozens of other threads on these so-called miracle electric heaters.
All electric heaters are the same efficiency (100%) and cost exactly the same to run for the same rated output. So why pay £100's when you could pay £20?
And why do you think these companies never put prices in their ads? So that they can send a slimy sales rep round to feed you nonsensical sales pitches that deny the basic laws of physics.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • THank-you both. Back to the drawing board, Just about to buy the heaters then saw the reviews.
