That's what VERO was set up to do, protect the owners of the intellectual rights (Is that the right term...someone correct me if I'm wrong).

As you can see if Revolver own the rights to the DVD and are registered with the VERO scheme they don't even have to respond to questions as to why listings were removed.
I sold some branded make up once and noticed other listings disappearing and assumed VERO were doing their thing and wimped out and pulled my listings! That makeup was bought legtimately by me but obviously I had no proof that I had the right to sell it on, so I took the cowards way out.

But surely, the whole point of e-Bay is to sell second hand goods!
Unless everybody sells home-made jam or something, then to some degree we are selling something that "belongs" to somebody else.
On the back of my DVD it says:
"Unauthorised copying, hiring, lending, public performance, radio or TV broadcasting of this recording is prohibited"
I take this to mean that straightforward selling is ok0
