Hi all,
This is the first time I've posted anything... so hope it works!
Has anyone else had any problems with Topps Tiles not refunding on tiles that were 'special orders' ?
They ommitted to tell me they were a special order so had no idea!
Had no joy with store, customer service or Area Manager... now looking for CEO email address. Can anyone help?
Thanks!

there are a few websites kicking about that list companies chief executives if you have a search. to be honest though if you've gone through a few levels of management and they all tell you that special order tiles are non-refundable then you might be onto a loser.0

OP, is there anything wrong with the tiles?
Did you order them online?
Their website says...Please note that some of our products are classed as ’special order’, this means the products are custom made or specifically order for individual customers, as such any return of these items will incur a restocking charge of 20% of the price paid for the goods.0 -
I certainly won't be using Topps again - I had gone over my 45 days for return of unused floor adhesive but needed more wall tiles - I asked if they would consider a credit towards the tiles as I wasn't asking for actual 'cash' back but they wouldn't entertain it. I emailed via their web-site to see if I could get any joy from head office but that was over a week ago and they haven't even acknowledged my email - disgusting, this is not what I call customer service.0

You can get the names and home addresses of any company's directors from Companies House through their website (you have to pay a very small fee, it's £2 or something like that).Je suis Charlie.0

Sorry I don't see how they have been disgusting, nor why its not customer service, you asked a question you alreayd knew according to the regulations of that business were not possible.
They said no, where exactly is the issue?0 -

I've just been charged a 20% restocking fee on laminate flooring which they hold in stock NOT A SPECIAL ORDER. We had one surplus pack which turned out to be damaged.
Their totally unreasonable conditions say that you must notify them within 48 hours of damaged goods, yet the instructions say that you must leave the laminate for 48 hours in the room before laying. We returned the goods within 1 week.0
