Are you sure you have a leak?
I recently had the same problem and it turned out that I had a faulty water meter that was registering water usage that I was not using. When I turned off my stopcock the meter still went round by itself!!
Severn Trent were brilliant they came out replaced the meter, tested it and confirmed it was faulty. We then tracked my daily usage so that they could issue me with a correct bill.0
