I have already spoke to a claim manager and he has told me i have to speak to some company called tcs or something like that this has been going on for weeks now i feel they are just dragging there heals is there anything i can do to speed this up. They have said on numerous occasions someone is going to phone me and they dont then i was told a form was being sent out its still not here.

Try and get the claim escalated to a management level. Give esure a call and tell that you are not happy with the level of service you are receiving and that it does not comply with current TCF guidelines as set down by the FSA and that you would like to make a complaint. Hopefully this will you make someone sit up and take notice of you.
What exactly do you mean when you say you think you are under insured?I am an Insurance & Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I had a claim with esure a few years ago and found they did need chasing up. They also passed the claim to another company but that was only for the company to purchase the goods rather than give you money. In the end the claim they paid was a good settlement so I was happy with them.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

They are trying to say i dont have my goods insured for enough money and this could invalidate my claim, they think the £13,000 i have my home contents insured for is not enough what do they want me to do commit fraud and put down i have £50,000 worth of gear thats not there. i am claiming under the high risk items bit of the policy as it is a tv but the guy asked me on the phone do i have lots of dvd's and videos they are classing them as high risk i think they are just looking for a way out of paying.0

How did you calculate the £13k?
Why are you claiming for such a cheap item?I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care
Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair0 -
They are saying i did it but i really dont remember filling any amount out when i applied for it online and its not a cheap item i dont have £439 to replace. I put the wrong price in it was £4390

Remember contents is not just the items like TVs but carpets, curtains, beds, fridges etc which can add up to substantially more than a couple of TVs.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

I know it can my household insurance is £11,000 plus £1500 for high risk items i live in a one bedroom bungalow. That would be more than enough for me to replace everything.0

Hi. Check this site
http://www.adviceguide.org.uk/
which is CAB, and talk to your local CAB. And check the wording of your policy. (I thought underinsurance would only reduce a payout, not invalidate a claim.)0
