I never said they had damaged the castors in assembly...we could have damaged it ourselves for all i know...but they took it upon themselves to accept responsibility even though i was more than willing to pay for a replacement castor. I was told it was a very rare thing to happen though. Still i found it refreshing to find a company accepting responsibility in this day and age and felt they went beyond what i expected of them. So i feel i should defend their reputation as i couldn't ask for more from them.

But then I'm sure you've never made any mistakes though... not that you'd admit it (neither would i :p) as you know it wouldn't look great for the reputation of your bed company!

    Just remember:

"To err is human, to forgive is divine"

As I said, it's not that rare for independent retailers to give good after sales service. Most would at the very least send you replacement castors, but many would also fit them.

So how much extra did they charge you for the higher base?
  • Hi Tim,
i feel i have narrowed my choice down to these 2 mattresses. any comments please.
Kozeesleep Regency, millbrook romance 1400, both are pocket sprung and turnable.

    many thanks

  • Search for a seller called rayhymas on ebay.

I bought a pocket sprung mattress for £195 of this guy called Ray Hymas.

The mattresses are made and delivered by himself and I have to say it was an absolute bargain and a pleasure to do business with him.

This is a very high quality and mattress which I researched extensively when I purchased it and is worth at least double the price.

I wouldn't. They sell mainly big brands, plus their own brand of cheap imported mattresses.
