Are there any Broadband companies with UK call centres

Hi,

Is there anyone that can advise whether there are any companies that offer Broadband that have UK based call centres. I have read numerous reviews for the likes of BT and Talk Talk which advise to steer clear because of these call centres so would like to join up with one that is UK based only.

I suppose this also applies to utlities...gas, electricity etc as I am moving to a new house.

Any advise is appreciated!!

I'm with NTL and I'm 95% sure that they are UK based. I find them realy goodand have never had any probs. They have IT support all the time and will talk you through everything which is great for me as i am not very tecnically or computer wise!

I am with Telewest. They are UK based and have always been helpful even though they are now owned by NTL who are known for bad customer service. I think maybe they are still independent from NTL at present.

    Zen Internet......

UK based, never long waits to get through, and staff that really know what they are on about (not just reading from a script).

I second that. I've been with Zen since July 2003 and I've had to phone them once to move my connection between addresses. Got through to someone at their Rochdale base and I was sorted within minutes.

    Absolutely brilliant service.

Yes I third Zen Internet - Never had an issue with anything, support is 100% and not lost the connection once!

I had issues with my DNS, set to manual, in the router setup, and had trouble resolving sites. They knew what the problem was exactly and even gave me step by step instructions on how to set it to auto resolve.

took all but 5 minutes on the phone.
  • I am with Zen..It is..

    So is PlusNet
