I was planning to get the kitten spayed/neutered after six months ish and have no with to breed them. Does this mean i should go for one with no papers? confused

If you buy a ped please go for one with papers from a reputable breeder. I happen to know of a fabulous hobby breeder who has an older NFC kitten (Norwegian Forest Cat) looking for a home, the last of a litter

If it has no papers it means that the person with the kittens is likely breeding without the breeder's consent and therefore has probably no idea of any potential hereditary conditions mother and or father could be passing on that are breed specific. Basically, they're a glorified back street breeder.

A good breeder will let you see their set up, meet mum and kittens, offer advice, ask you lots of questions about how much you've thought through your new addition, let you ask lots of questions and most importantly of all, offer lifelong advice and will take back the kitten should there be any issues (with cat or your personal circumstances).
