Hiya!, I'm currently in percarious situation and don't know what to do..........
We'll I'm currently a PAYG customer with O2 who l think are great - every problem l have had has been sorted ASAP - coverage has been spot on, I currently own a Samsung T100 but desparetly require a new mobile due to it being cracked. I currently have a text 400 bolt on (£11.99) with O2 which most months l exceed this limit.
Do l purchase a O2 online 100 deal (100 mins plus 500 texts a month; £25.00 a month) or leave for Orange and get the tariff for £20.00 per month and you get 3000 texts each month.
I make very little calls, my only requirements for the new mobile would be a intergrated camera and bluetooth as l drive approx 2 hours a day (commuting to work), l honestly can't see the point of purchasing another PAYG phone for example Nokia 6230 (£249.99) and then having to top it up.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?????

Try O2's payg retention number 01274388261 and ask for PAC code. They will almost certainly offer you a "deal" just to keep you. Particularly so if you want to go to a pay monthly contract. They offered me double everything for 6 months and any phone just to stay. That was yesterday.Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.0 -
I'm with O2 PAYG at the mo, and I'd like to know how you get on, Rich. I've just purchased a second-hand phone to tide me over, but am looking for a cheap contract for low usage but with x-network minutes and texts included. And I want a small phone, preferably 100mm or less (don't ask much
). And I'd like it to be classy.

Just something to consider between 02 contracts and orange - if you dont use all your mins on 02 then you loose them they dont rollover but they do on vodafone and orange which was something that put me off 02, i know they do start rolling over on the 200 mins a month tariff but if you dont plan on that tariff you loose what you dont use.The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

Well.......what did l do in the end????
I contacted O2 on Tuesday afternoon at approx 16:30, placed my order for the ONLINE 50 - 500 texts, 50 anytime minutes, picked the Black Nokia 6230 (Camera, Bluetooth etc - current retail as £249.99 on PAYG) - £19 a month.
Received my order yesterday - fantastic service - i am really happy with it.
Was paying £11.99 a month for the text 400 bolt-on, with my crappy old phone - now got a top of the range Nokia, extra 100 texts a month and 50 anytime mins which l didn't have before for just an extra £7 a month.
I do like O2 alot as l regualry work in the Welsh Valleys and the coverage is excellent with great support.
I wasn't sure what to do at first but glad l chose O2 in the end!0
