we have tried creamy cheese, normal cheese, hotdog, garlic sausage and skips (they love crisps) but none seems to work. We have got a different dog trainer coming to our house on Wednesday and she is going to help us decide the best way etc. We don't want a superdog - just a dog with basic manners that will wak properly! It's so icy at the moment that we can't take them out without being pulled over!!! I will let you know how we get on! Thanks

But do they get two good meals a day in a bowl??A dog with a behaviour problem needs help not punishment.0 -
It may be worth checking your insurance documents if you have pet insurance. Some insurers provide advice lines and a nominal sum towards the cost of resolving behavioural problems in certain circumstances. However, as I have never had to claim for this and policies vary between insurers I am not too sure about when a claim can be made.0

If they do - you are missing out on one of the best possible training rewards....
Spend a few days only feeding they by hand, and ask them to do simple little obedience things that they already know for their dinner. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
course they get two meals a day! i wouldn't starve them lolThe more one gets to know of men, the more one values dogs.0

Then use the food for training, just like you have had to go out to wok and earn the money to buy it.
No one is suggesting that you don't feed them. My dogs much prefer to eat their food from my hand outside during training and there is no reason why yours wouldn't enjoy it either.
Same with their toys. If they have them whenever...........
Anyway I've said it all before. I'll leave it there.A dog with a behaviour problem needs help not punishment.0
