Weird Car Noises!

It's definetly not knocking ... I would say it is more of a rattle ...

I am going to take it into the garage later, just wasn't able to this morning.

If it was something stuck in the wheel, I would imagine the noise would be there all the time. However, it only happens when I lift my foot off whilst im in motion.

hope you get it sorted soon, remember advice is free from mechanics they may be able to tell u what is with out looking under the hood, good luck;)

It was the nearside driveshaft, need a new one! Labour of £40, currently sourcing cheap parts.

UPDATE:

Went to Morgan Motors Tuesday Night. Forgot to take my locking wheel nut key

Went back Wednesday Morning. They fitted a new driveshaft (well, used driveshaft) as I had requested, paid £70 and drove off.

Then noticed the noise was still there!!!!

Went back to the Mechanic who said get a new driveshaft, and he suggested that it might need the other side doing as well. I'm not so sure. The noise has reduced with the new driveshaft - but I still reckon its on the left hand side.

Any further suggestions?
