Apologies for slowness on the forum

Hi folks,

As you will undoubtedly have noticed, the forum has been suffering from some pretty extreme slowness over the past couple of days.

We're really sorry about this - the MSE techie team has been working flat out since the weekend investigating the causes and possible soutions to this - and they are still looking now.

We apologise for any inconvenience this is causing. At the moment we are managing the keep the forum open, but it may need to be closed if the problem gets worse.

If you want to let us know about any particular peculiarities you are getting other than general slowness, please post it in this discussion.

The main site is still running without problem - see www.moneysavingexpert.com.
