I've taken a look at my credit file and I see no CCJs. The stuff from the council states that there was a court summons which took place in my absence back in Dec 2008 but my details, my linked addresses and everything have no record of any court things at all.

Council Tax Court Summons dont show on credit searched neither do Council Tax Liability Orders (they are not CCJ's).

I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.
