Does anyone know if there are any points offers when you buy certain products? My boots website isn't working properly, grr.0

Just purchased my little girls next carseat (won't need it for 6 months or so but a great bargain). The maxi cosi rodi airprotect is on offer from £125 down to £100. 2400 points for chair (2 lots of £50 to state the obvious) 600 extra points from boots parenting club (was automatically added, i had no idea about the offer so not sure what is included) and there is a voucher (look in voucher section) for 1000 extra points for spending £100 or more. Grand total of 4000 points. So in reality the chair only cost £60
Oh and it was free delivery too :j 0 -

I've just made my order online, and they've only given me the 1200 points, none for any of the products I bought - think I need to get on to them!

Edit: I've just rung Boots, and they said that it is right, I do only get the 1200 points - I would have earned 200 points anyway, and they made it up to 1200, rather than give me an extra 1200 as I was expecting - still very good, but I'm not quite sure how other people seem to have had extra points added ?
Are they all for special offers rather than normal points?0 -
Yes, in previous years they advertised 1000 bonus points on a £50 spend and now they have realised that it sounds better to advertise it as 1200 points (1000 bonus and 200 that you would get on that spend anyway).
People that have been getting extra points on top of that have gone for products that are on extra points promotions (such as posted by daska above).
If you are planning on spending £100 there is a code on the boots code thread for an extra 1000 points. You enter the code in the promotional box at check out, which results in £34 worth of points on a £100 spend.

Thanks, that clears it up!
I'm tempted to cancel my order and go for the £100 instead - I'm sure I can spend that quite easily stocking up on shampoo, toothpaste, etc!0 -
Had thought this was just in store but now might try to do my buying online.
Can anyone tell me though if the CKone perfume at £11 is that price in store though?

Do need to pick up an order in store but worried the things I want wont be available or on offer when I get there! If only I could stop finding good bargains on this site, I would save a fortune! :rotfl:0
