A colleague bought an Apad which is a 10" iPad clone, which went straight onto ebay, the touchscreen really was dreadful, unless you can try an alternative to the iPad before you buy then be wary and read reviews! Not that I would buy an iPad anyway, overpriced locked down Apple ...... oh just don't get me going, I have an iPod touch and since ios4 it has been very unreliable, 18 months down the line I suspect the same will happen to the original ipads.

As for the screen check whether it is a capacitive screen (like iPad) or resistive screen this can make a difference - thats why i like the archos 101

Nope it doesn't allow that much multi-tasking, and there are no ways to share the on screen keypad...ok

I didnt mean at the same time. I meant would we both be able to get our emails when we go seperate because AOL has its own software and i dont understand how i could get that on an ipad?
