can I Recieve JSA if at Uni?

    I worked as a waitress, NHS Direct callhandler, freelance magazine writer, catalouge deliverer, Avon seller, playscheme worker and pizza delivery driver while at uni - usually just two or three at a time though, not all at once :D

    There's a few suggestions of places worth applying to...

    I worked for the Uni itself in admin roles curing the summer, was in the Territorial Army, did some temping with clerical roles, put up posters for an arts publicity organisation.

    My friends worked at the local sorting office during Xmas, others worked in shops, call centres and bars.

    I think it's a lot tougher to find part time work now since the introduction of tax credits as there's more competition for casual jobs.
