Create a free Open University account here.

I can't really remember how I originally did mine, but I think it was the above way. The OU website is pretty poorly designed site in my opinion, but one gets used to it. (It the only flaw I can think of with the OU.) I found that to begin with, I just swam around on their site.
I hope by setting up this above password will gain you access to the enrolment pages. If not you can phone the helpline and either ask for instructions on how to go about it online or ask for all the paper work ie forms (course enrollment and financial papers) to be sent to you at home.

So I think you create a sign in name and then go to the enrolment pages. I think !!

I'm a single parent of one. I did an access qualification at my local college nearly four years ago. It was worth the equivalent of 2 A-levels. They let me stay on benefits whilst I was studying (12 hrs a week for 1 year) and paid for my childcare. I'm now in my third year of a BA (Hons) Degree in Social Welfare and on for a first - Go for it!

Hope this helps and good luck!
