BT phone harassment

  • I told them I was registered with telephone preference (which I am) and that included them. just because they provided my telephone line did not give them the right to call me in this way and if they persisted I would report them - it worked!

    I got a phone call this morning from BT telling me they were not going to phone me anymore. DOH !!!:rotfl:

    After the phone and email confirmations that I won't be having any more sales calls, guess what ? I had another sales call today. What can I possibly do to stop this ?

    If you have a BT contract, you will not be screened out of calls from them by TPS-it applies only to cold calling-not to companies with whom you already have a relationship.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    You should ask them politely to remove you from their calling list as you do NOT wish to be called again. They then have 28 days to ensure your request is fulfilled.

    My working day is spent making calls on the phone; life is so much easier when the person I am calling makes their requirements clear; it saves us both time!!
