If you post a quick message and someone else has posted while you were posting, it will do that.

Refresh the page and it will come back.

  • Morning all!

I have a huge problem with BOTH of my paypal accounts (one private, one business) and after having a huge clearout to raise money to move house,i have had a limitation put on both accounts and i have to provide ID,proof of address etc and then have a review of my accounts. So,I cant send or recieve money, etc.

If it was a few quid then ok,i wouldnt be worried but i have over £500 that i cant get. I have had no problems with the parcels i sent and got positive feedback for the buyers who did leave fb.

Is there anything i can do? I dont want to send my ID,etc off as its my money and i dont think its fair that they can have such a hold over my money. one suggestion was to tell the financial ombudsman and then take it to small claims court.

Has anyone been in this posistion before?

Thanks for your time and any replies

Do what PayPal are asking, it takes about 1 week to solve the problem. It looks like they have added both accounts as one. Once you have done this close one account as this will make things more simple for you.
Everyone who sells on Ebay and gets paid through paypal goes through this at one time or another.
Lifes a !!!!! and then you marry one:D

I decided to hang fire on this earlier on, but this is usually to do with money-laundering regulations, so Paypal are obligated to do this.

The sooner you send them ID the sooner you get your account unlocked.

However the process might have been complicated by having two accounts in your own name, so I would sort that out at the earliest opportunity.
