If it helps at all, when we moved in to our house 4 years ago, within the first year we got lots of letters from all kinds of DCAs for a previous occupant. We either sent them all back as 'Gone Away' or when it became particularly irritating, we'd phone the DCA in question and tell them the person they were looking for no longer lived at our address. It would die down for a bit, and then flare up again a few months later!

We still get the odd one coming through, they pretty much either get sent back or go in the bin now - never had a single person turn up on the doorstep.

It's the same for you really - just think of it in those terms, they're addressed to someone who doesn't live at your address. Make sure your Electoral Roll entry is up to date i.e. not showing that he still lives there. Other than that, just send them back or put them in the bin and seriously - DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT!

There would be more tell-tale signs if that was the case - i.e. correspondence from new suppliers of goods/services. In any case, if he's still using his name then it still isn't the OPs responsibility and will still have no bearing on her credit file.
