Non ABS brake set on ABS car? Help!

Well. 02 was the change, and the abs list as a bigger and thicker disc than the non abs, and the pads are different too.
You're going to have to look at what's on your car, but they sound like the wrong ones.0 -
October 2000 to Dec 2002. If they look like them they will fit Pumas were fitted with ABS as standard except for the 1.4 which was optional.
to Sept 2000 If they look like them they wont.
To verify the discs the bigger discs have four stud holes in them, the smaller have four stud holes and a retainer hole.Smaller disc June 97 to Sept 2000. 240x20mm
Bigger disc October 2000 to Dec 2002. 258x22mm.
1.7 Puma engine code should be MHA or MHB0
