Small Stove -- Big Logs

Hi,
My stove is designed for small logs. I realise that some log suppliers will do 200mm logs however I like to buy Kiln Dried logs as they burn better and are hassle free. Both Certainly Wood and Bio Hot (http://www.biohot.co.uk/) do standard length 25cm so I get the occasional oversize log.
What is the easiest way to cut them down to size? Should I invest in some sort of electric saw? If I take an axe to them they'll look more like kindling than logs and this is hard work for a feeble old geezer like me.
I cannot be the first to have this issue. Anyone invented a wheel for this before?
Cheers,
Ossian
PS- I have a Stovax Stockton 4

A standard 750mm log or Bow Saw should do you adequately. http://greenblokes.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=16
As to Kiln Dried logs I just buy the ordinary air dried from the wood merchant but keep two days supply in the space behind and under the stove which gives as good a dry as kiln dried by the time I use them. You scullion!
