little annoying things

Does anyone else have a little annoying niggle with their wedding?
Not a big thing that's totally unchangable, and not really a financial thing either, just a niggle.
For me it's this:
I want H2B to wear a pair of grey and yellow coverse all stars for the wedding. It'll go really well with our 50s yellow and grey theme and look a bit funky. But he point blank will not entertain the idea and has categorically told me to stop going on about it. I really must stop sulking about it.

Come on, what are your little annoying things, make me feel less irritable!

Someone is trying to turn me getting ready into a family get together and we can all leave together, one of them has to drivr past the church to get to the house plus I don't want everyone seeing me before all done up, they'll only get to the church and tell oh what I'm wearing or something0

Cor, yes, that would do my head in too!!
I've got another. I either have to spend the entire day with my make up bag - or have to make up for the four day honeymoon directly after our wedding... There MUST be a way around that!saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.

Oh man, yes!!!
H2B's father is insisting that he will only wear one tartan. It doesn't match the tartan being worn by the rest of the wedding party and now it turns out that it's not even available anywhere. I don't know why he can't just put on the kilt chosen by his son for one bleeding day.
H2B is also insisting that he change out of the lovely kilt outfit into a Jacobean shirt for the evening. I have to dance in a heavy dress because I do not want to change and I think the Jacobean shirt is too informal for the groom.

We have been talking about suits, and my OH wants a morning suit because "all people look silly on their wedding day", whereas ours will be a more informal wedding and I would just like him to wear a regular suit. It stresses me out every time I try to discuss it, and I just want to organise what he's wearing without him now, lol!!

Ps, I love the converse, and if it was me I would still be sulking too.

Similar to yours, Twirlypink.
The H2B is having his suit made for him (no problems there) and I'm not going to see it before the day (again, no problems there) BUT he will not understand that I want him to wear a pink tie because it will match with the colour scheme! He keeps saying it's his choice and I'll see on the day! No! It's the colour scheme-he HAS to match!!

Jeez!. No wonder there are so many bust-ups at weddings.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
funny how so many of these are about the grooms attire... interesting that...
H2B says the 50s thing is my idea and he doesn't see the point of it. If i tell him I have a 50s dress he'll just google it and find a copy right away, so i'm loath to do that.
So instead i said he can wear what he likes now, i'm done caring. It isn't strictly true, but i'm working on it!saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.

I'd love my OH to wear a morning suit, but he wants to wear a regular suit :rotfl: Should we swap?!

I don't know if I'm being an old fuddy duddy but I have to say that the converse would make the groom look like a Dr Who wannabee.....did any see the Don't tell the bride episode where the groom considered wearing something similar? Even he decided in the end to wear a proper pair of shoes and looked the part!2014 Target;
