HairyHandofDartmoor wrote:OH gone out to spend £10 on a shower curtain as it has mould on it and we have already bleached it to death in the past. We have relatives about to arrive for 3 nights (we have no standards any more but we don't want to shock them!) We've also run out of dishwasher powder so that may be about £3.50 or so. Grrrrr hate spending money.
A thanks because of the laugh, which I desperately need right now, and a quote because "did you know.......;) " that you can get a bottle of washing up liquid for less than 50p!
Sorry, I'm just jealous as I don't own a dishwasher, even after 32 years of marriage. There have been times we could have afforded one, but OH doesn't see the point, and we'd have to sacrifice a cupboard to fit one in.
Spent today £4.65. Daily Mail (for the TV mag), reduced price cabbage, fruit juice (offer 3 x 1L cartons for £2.30) and 99p bag of frozen mixed veg.
Hope it's okay for a not strictly DFW to join these threads, but you all seem such a lovely friendly bunch, and it's my favourite thread for a daily lurk.

there has been a change of plan for me half term holiday is now on hold, because my son went to hospital yesterday to have a cist look at and the kept him in to drain it so hopefully he will be out tonight so that we can resume our holiday, so today I have spent £3.00 for car park. yes the hospital charge £1.50 for each time you visit the car parkYung

Oh yung, I am so sorry to hear that. I hope your son gets well soon and the cyst is nothing to worry about.
