Tyres with Supplementary White Numbers Stamped On Side?
single-handed

I was hoping someone could help. I recently bought some wanli car tyres - both have a white number 85 with a box around it on the side ? Does this mean they are only rated 85 for load, the imprinted mark is 97? I was thinking this supplementary mark is because it is a factory second, and I don't want to drive them if they are not the correct loading?
Any ideas?

You've not told us what car you drive...... It's rather important when selecting tyre's

Secondly, when you buys cheap tyre's you really do take your chances im afraid.

why is that important op has told you the size he/she was looking for . yes cheap tyres are not as good as top of range or mid range tyres they wear quicker BUT they are not dangerous you only get what you pay for . for wear i would go for michelin but expensive or hankook mid range .Strider590 wrote: »You've not told us what car you drive......
