Have you looked at a travel kettle? They hold 400ml (2 cups) of water. I use one and it's better than the quick 2 boil - the water is much hotter.

We've had the Tefal One-cup since the first christmas they came out.......maybe 4/5 years ago? It's been great except for a small design fault on ours which needs the cup/mug to be on a small upturned dessert tub otherwise the water sprays out a bit.
We have noticed that recently it is not getting as hot as it once did, so hoping Santa will bring a new one for crimbo.................certainly a great time and energy saver. We want another one!

well i took the plunge, and bought it, had seen it in sainsburys and kept looking thinking £75 on a kettle is mad, then they had 20% off one day, and being staff i had 15% discount too! How MSE! LOL!

    Anyway, quick review

not as bulky on worktop as i'd imagined.
easy to use, quick to do a one cup, if i were being picky i'd like just a touch more water to come out, but i like my tea strong and not much milk. hasn't spat or dripped after i've removed cup.
tea is hot enough for me but i'm not sure i'd say it was boiled, just a touch off that i'd say
its a bit of a pain not being able to see the water fill level without picking up the kettle, but when its just me indoors I fill the kettle once and that lasts me all day. (7 cups is the max it dispenses)
    the kettle side boils quickly.

Hope that helps anyone thats thinking of buying it.

Hi, if anyone has the instructions for the quick2 boil can you tell me is there a special way to descale it (like there is with the tefal quick cup) I have managed to misplace our manual and am convinced less water is coming out than normal
    thanks lyn x
