Just flitting in to say hi :hello:

Not having a great couple of days, and can't go into details here, but any positive vibes gratefully accepted. If it would brighten up a bit, I'm sure I'd be coping better, I hate all this grey!

I did the bathroom on Saturday, and the boys' room too, and the main bedroom. Living room will be whisked over tomorrow, probably with DD after I get home from school.

Love and hugs, especially to toots, lady-liberty - lovely to see you posting! and everyone else who could make good use of a virtual hug, or would like one!

Posi~~~~~~~~~~vibes flying your way.... and could you whisk over the living room with a duster not DD :p..

You know where I am if you wish to have a rant.. hope all is sorted soon for you xx

While I was out at my appointment this afternoon the builders did the slabs for my wheelchair bunker:j:j:j:j I now have level access so it will be great to get the chair out without any hassle - I need to leave it a couple of days as there is a wee bit of concrete that needs to harden.
I just need to get the path sorted a bit and the corner of the building but will have to pay for that myself so need to speak to the man in our congregation thats a builder for some help.

apparently we are to have minus 10 by the end of the week and snow here!!!!!! I think I might hibernate!

Just going to potter on this week flying wise. DB and SIL left to go back to Aberdeen this morning. The bathroom got done on Sunday and Ive got some washing in tonight. The beds have been changed so that lots going in after the towels have finished. The cat has claimed the spare room as he has trotted off up there tonight. Oh well he may come back down as Ive switched the radiator off in there.

Hugs and spoons for everyone specially Toots. Lady L. Diva and LW.

Yay to path progress.. almost 1 more thing to slash off that list!!! Drying vibes for concrete.. it will die if it is that cold.. IIRC -8'C is when it is useless and just crumbles!!

I have added a couple more bits to the tesco order.. .. It is about half stuff for Tiddles party, christmas presents and large chunks of meat for my freezer.. I've not done such a large order before it took hours! Will be fun getting it away if a certain madam is still eing a madam.

I've not had chance to speak to solicitor but am hoping to get to that asap.. I've barely had time to pee today.

Lady L - such a pleasure to see you here. Take care honey x

Serena - Positive vibes for you. Hope you have a better time tomorrow.

JoJo - Glad you have made your decision regarding your DD. I have a similar dilemma with DD1 who celebrates next Thursday. She's dropping hints left, right and centre but I'm still rather put out about the £130 I stumped up for her driving lessons when she jetted off to France with her friends. Regular readers may remember it was an invoice left on my bedside table. She promised to pay it back. I'm still waiting:whistle:.

Kids - they don't get easier as they get older.

DH has worked from home today and the kitchen is looking good. He has also done 2 loads of washing and I don't dare look as the last time he washed he shrunk my red silk dress.

Work and DD2's therapy tomorrow afternoon, book club tomorrow night.

I'm off to bed shortly, last night I had to get up at 11.15 and shout at DD1 & 2 who were making a racket upstairs. I couldn't get settled after that and had a rotten night.
