ITV HD in Scotland - Technical Problem?

Hi,

does anyone else have the problem that ITV HD is not available anymore?

Its says "Technical Problem" for the last 5 days or so...

Never changed anything and worked a treat before..

You have it fixed, for now. Could you explain how you did so?

1) Sky

2) HD Receiver 500MB

3) Scotland, ML3

4) Manually looked up the satellite again, via the Skybox Menu. Press "Services", go over an highlight add channels. Move down and type in 10935, Polarisation V, 22 in the next field and 5/6 in the forth field. Yellow button to search. Save Channel and now you can use ITV HD in Scotland.

Mic2904 both ITV HD and STV HD are available to you.
STV HD has been available for a few months now

STV HD is 10.936V 21.998

Think I read on another forum that ITV1 HD is now no longer available to postcodes in the STV area via satellite.

If you want it, you'll have to change your boxes postcode to one in the Borders.

Presumably though you'll soon be able to get STV HD instead.

Sky boxes cannot change their postcode - channels you receive are limited through the card in your box which decides the region specific channels.

Perhaps you are thinking of Freesat where you can alter the postcode?

Presumably though you'll soon be able to get STV HD instead.

The OP can receive both ITV HD and STV HD through Other Channels - just cannot record them.

Living in scotland i tuned my freesat tv into itv during the summer to get the world cup in HD using english postcode. Can i also recieve stv hd via the other channel option on panasonic freesat tv? I no there are 3 channels on other channel option being local stv for glasgow,edinburgh and aberdeen. None are on HD though that i can see?

auchterarder, see my previous post for the settings for STV in HD. I don't have a Panasonic receiver, so can't help you with set up but those are the settings you need.
