Hi all,

Trying to convert a friend into a MSE'er and they have just had their mobile phone bill of £200....

They have asked me to help them find a plan that will work out cheaper.

Is there anywhere that I can input the number of inclusive mins and texts I require and it will tell me the available price plans?!?!

Or if anyone knows a price plan with approx 1000 x-net mins and 200+ texts then let me know!!!

Cheers

M

I recommend that you read the information in this other mobile phone section, which includes links to sites where you can make comparisons. See Step 1 of the feature here:
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1122310650,23242,

You can do online checks etc. from links there. You'll get many deals that offer cashback, reducing the 'effective' monthly rental cost.

The O2 tariff mentioned above is good, but doesn't give all the minutes that you say you'll probably need. I think that you could get a similarly priced deal (think it was £450 ish per year?) but with more mins/texts and cash back. Overall, they'll save from their much higher bill.

Another tip is to use https://www.quidco.com and similar cash repayment sites, where appropriate. They frequently give a fixed fee in cash back for purchases and many mobile contract deals. You visit their affiliated partners from Quidco's website, then purchase to benefit from their kick-back to you.

    Good luck. Rob

    For £45 quid a month you could get Flext 50 which offers £255 worth of texts/calls. (1min x-net = 20p, 1 text =10p)

You could get 1171 x-net minutes and 208 texts or any combination in between.
