I use Ashampoo burning studio 2010 advanced, which you can get free here.

Its a good, easy to use product, which does everything it should.

You have to sign up to recieve their emails though. They don't spam you though. I usually get 1 or 2 a month, usually with special offers, and the occasional freebie.

I use Ashampoo Burning Studio as well.

If you daughter wants to use Windows Media Player just start it up, put a cd into her burner and hover over the 'Burn' tab at the top of Media Player. She will then see a small arrow underneath.
Click on that and choose either 'audio' or 'data' (depending on whether she wants to make a cd for playing on a regular cd player or and audio/mp3 for playing on mp3 players or cd players that play mp3 files).
Then click on 'burn' and an area will open on the right of media player. Drag her mp3's into there and click 'start burn' at the bottom of the window.
    It's that easy!

    Imgburn is my preferred choice.

I could be wrong, but I think the OP meant to convert to play on a cd player

Yep, it does all that, whether it's WAV files to CD or MP3 files into an Audio disc.
My current compilation in the car is a disc I made up from MP3 files which Imgburn converted to an Audio CD. :)

    It does?

Im trying that next time I burn MP3. How do I convert as opposed to burn as an mp3?

    I followed the instructions here.

Works a treat, though I ended up doing it twice. I'm partially deaf in one ear and can't hear the difference between songs ripped at 64K and those ripped at higher rates. Subsequently I ripped a lot of songs at 64K for use in my little MP3 player I use at the gym. Unfortunately the lower rate doesn't translate well when changed onto an audio CD. I had to re-rip at a higher rate so they sounded OK in the car.
