daughter is looking for some burning software so when she buys mp3's online she can burn them to cd. nothing complicated and expensive such as nero.

media player or windows has been able to burn to cd since xp, or imgburn, most if not all pc's come with extra software to do dvd's etc.!!

yes, I use windows media player to burn my CD's and it works fine. Also does DVD and data discs FYI. Other than that, I suggest Nero but as you stated, you dont want to use that one.

one program springs to mind, cdburnerxp http://www.cdburnerxp.se/en/features <see here for more info, completely free and small, note about mp3's they have to be converted before burning program will automatically convert, unless the cd player can play mp3's directly. in which case you can burn as data.

I use windows media player. Burn cd has an option to create audio cd (normal music cd) or data cd (mp3 cd).0
