Hello folks. Have managed to get on great guns with my work this morning. One job down, 3 left to do. Off to make lunch for grumpy hubby. Leek and potato soup. Then I might go out and do some digging out of the cars and see if I can get on the road with my little car. I need it for tomorrow- singing Messiah with the choir I am in. Or at least, I am meant to be. Might not make it!! Anyway, all positive thoughts gratefully received!
Much love to one and all...

I'm supposed to be working in Edinburgh on Monday, but it doesn't look as if Southampton airport will be open on Sunday afternoon... does anyone know what the trains are like between the deep south and Edinburgh (Nat rail just says 'subject to delays and cancellations')
We had planned to spend a couple of extra days in edinburgh, and then go up towards Loch Lomond for a few days walking... I'm assuming this is no longer a sensible idea, but would appreciate some advice from those of you in the area...
Thanks0 -

I've just looked on the network rail site & they have an amended timetable - but I don't think there's meant to be more snow however the temperatures might drop so that might cause problems too - I think it'll be a keep checking thing for the weather.
As for walking in Loch Lomond - I would say no - although I'm east coast & it's west. The actual temperatures are not likely to rise above freezing & wind chill is dropping it further. It would be lovely but I don't think it would be recommended
Sorry
