Best if you only print one and then change your email otherwise each one will have the same 'pin' (The barcode below the 99 barcode) and they are effectively copies of the first which is a :naughty::naughty::naughty:

No worries PG, your point about changing the email is the far better option....

In case anyone is still thinking of just printing multiple copies make sure that you aren't using your real fb page because the pin on the multiple coupons will probably be traceable to your fb page which is a bit of a giveaway :rotfl:

  • It seems to me that Tesco are moving the goal posts again and this reply I received is as clear as mud, with no mention of collecting the value of the coupons or a gift card and doesn't really tell me if I can expect to use the coupons without trouble in future.

We continually review our own business strategy and how we perform within the competitive retail sector. By accepting another retailer's coupons, we need to understand how much of a benefit this is to our customers, in comparison to the value it gives to our own business.

Although all our stores are advised by Tesco Head Office to accept these coupons it is left to Management Discretion within the store to choose if they will accept them or not and to inform their staff of what is acceptable.

For your information, our stores are advised to accept conditional spend coupons from the following competitors:

    ASDA
    Morrisons
    Sainsburys
    Co-op
    Marks & Spencer
    Waitrose
    Boots
    Aldi

However, I would also like to confirm that we will respond to specific marketing activity which is carried out by other retailers, by only accepting selected conditional spend coupons and for a limited period of time. Please be assured that this will be clearly communicated on an individual promotional basis to our participating stores.

I have spoken to our Store Manager who will get this addressed with the relevant members of staff to make sure that this does not happen again. He has also offered his deepest apologies.

I think your response could be described as clear as mud UM. I used a Waitrose £10 voucher on Wednesday, on Saturday I was told we can't take it if it doesn't scan. Maybe that was being accepted for a limioted time, or maybe the Team leader didn't know what he was talking about and didn't know how it was supposed to be keyed. He said that if it didn't scan they wouldn't get paid for the coupon. On being questioned "do waitrose give you money when these are used at Tesco's?" he said "they get a percentage of it", I'm sure that was utter rubbish. I'm off work for the next couple of days so I'll send my receipt off, for the cost of a stamp it's got to be worth a try. I picked up a couple of papers with the waitrose £5 at the weekend but I'm a bit reluctant to try those now. Maybe I'll check at CS before using one. I would've loved to have said I didn't want my shopping but it waS 6.30 and dinner was in the trolley.

I think too many of us are complaining to T - Dundee & I have the feeling that they will stop taking conditional spend soon . When to 1 of the T store - cashier was really P off cos I used so many coupons (mind you I did purchase the goods) as well as "wys" vouchers - the store supervisor (male) told her to scan it & its ok. He asked me if he cud photocopy my letter for their record. Me said ok (but me dont shop there that often) - only been there twice & he remembered me:eek: - "the person who shows him the letter previously".
