    Dear Sharon,
Thank you for your email regarding the Velvet competition.
We kindly suggest that you either send us a copy of your receipt or then that you wait until you have checked all the packages and then send the receipt with the winning wrappings.
    Yours sincerely,

Thanks for this I will send a copy then

sorry not been able to post much as been sooooo busy, finishing off decorating and trying to get organised for my hols on Monday...trying to catch up with all the posts .
Went to town to get some American dollars for tips, as smallest note they sent me in Egyptian money was the EP100!!!!went to M&S and got the £10 Dine in deal x 2, and a curry for 2 reduced to £5.....total £25.....continued shopping and got another £25 worth of food...went to checkout and SA put first lot through, and took the £5 moc and a 10%moc M&S sent me but he scanned that first so I only paid £17.50.....then used another £5 moc on the other stuff....I asked before I went to the till if I could use both and was told only if I split my shopping into 2 lots.....not like T's where I used 2 off £50 in 1 go last week, but no complaints from me, just a few tuts from woman behind me....

FAO m4rtin......I subscribed to Times/Sunday Times online today...got the app for my iPad....got 30 days for £1 offer, it seems as though you have to be a Times + member to get mocs , not sure what that is at the moment, but have to say I'm loving the app version as apposed to the web version...have downloaded all this weeks editions so when I get to Egypt , will have a weeks issues to read without being online....I know the news will be old but the articles will make good reading, plus the crosswords and the Sudokus....Internet access at the hotel is £15 a day, def not paying that, will try and find a free Wifi cafe.

  • An update on my saga with Tesco at Wath nr Rotherham. I went to the store today with my Waitrose £10 coupon expecting trouble. Well I am pleased to say I didn't get any. They were very apologetic that I had to go to the trouble of contacting HQ and had a printed list at CS with the stores they accept, which coincided with my email.

    Job done !!

I got this one too - but when it prints it is huge!! A4 size - so if anybody knows how to resize it I for one would be grateful as I luurve these.

Think my instructions on how to do this are still on the first page, but in case they're not, here you go...

Just a tip to save ink with pdf coupons - you only need print out the cut out bit with the actual voucher and barcode on.

Save it to your PC first as a pdf and then click on the little camera icon to activate and then highlight the bit you want. This will then copy just that section and you can paste into Excel (or Word, but I find Excel easier to manipulate) and then print about 3 or 4 per page.

If you can't see the camera icon, you can add it to your toolbar, by going into Tools\Customise toolbars and select it from there - bottom option on mine.

I was out on a first date with someone and found £20 in a pub, so I went to the bar to hand it in and the chap just looked at me, as if to say - are you mad?!? and I said don't you have a policy for lost property and he just said right yes. Had a nasty feeling it just went in his pocket after I'd gone...
