They are actually £5 off £20 which is even better!! Co-op are defo on the 'list' available on their systems so as long as you can persuade them to actually look they should accept it. Would be nice to know what the reverse side looks like to see if they have a barcode......Against my principles to buy them but very tempted.....

they are a 99 code ending in 5000 so shud scan well. :T

good luck with your quest btb, some of us have learnt the hard way you dont always win with tesco, they are a law unto themselves.:(, plus it IS a good will gesture when they take the competitors
coupons,it is not our right. :)

I accept it is a goodwill gesture from the company and not a right.

My point is that if it is company policy, which I have been told it is, then it is not up to the SM whether they abide by it or not, they have a duty, being employed by Tesco, to ensure that Tesco policy is implemented, not act as tin pot dictators. If I had been told it was a local issue, depending on the positioning of competitors stores, and therefore up to the SM's discretion, I would have accepted that but I wasn't and that is that as far as I am concerned.

Just letting my friends on here know to check the sealed inserts that are supposed to contain the Change of Life £50 coupon booklets inside the NOTW as a lot of them are missing. I bought four of them and only two of the booklets were inside. The inserts were sealed as well so its not as if someone had helped themselves beforehand. :o

sorry btb was not trying to cause probs just trying to help,we've had experience of tescos before and if there are too many people complaining tesco will just stop taking the conditional spends, so looking after my intrests aswell. my last words on the subject. :)

**Thank to all MSE who save me money with vouchers/ freebies & competitions ***
  • I got 4 of these CO-OP "£5 off when you spend £20" off eBay. The guy putting them on there is only asking 99p for them to cover expenses - they are in conjunction with a "£50 off Co-op Travel" voucher. If you can use them in Tesco that's even better!

If you want to read the details, go on to eBay and search the word "foodstore"....
