  • Happy New Year from Yorkshire! Bit mizzy up here (fine drizzle). OH and DD are out with Granny testing DD's new bike. Granny was ill over xmas so we are having xmas day again today and there's a turkey crown in the oven. I'm chilling with DS and Back to the Future is on tv - it's bliss. Fortunately we had beef for real xmas dinner so I'm actually looking forward to the turkey!

So Happy Fakemas to all you couponers!

Happy New Year from the US of A!!!!:hello: I was actually awake for midnight, usually Hubby and I would have been in bed by 10 pm but I'm not sleeping much since he passed so I was looking for coupons, free stuff and competitions online until about 2:45 am. Not sure what time DD rolled in, she went out with one of her cousins', don't know where they went as she was leaving as I was getting home from a shopping trip with my Mom and little sis. I never made it to Price Chopper yesterday so will definitely go there shortly as little sis gave me 3 more triple off coupons to use with 3 coupons so now I have 6 to use!!!:j It's a sunny January 1st and the snow is melting, roll-on spring!!!;)

I can't believe the way the skies here looked at 12 o'clock last night. We live high up and, on a clear day, can see as far as the Welsh hills. We are always treated to an amazing display of fireworks going off around us and across the Cheshire Plains at the stroke of midnight each New Year.

Last night there were hundreds of the Chinese Lanterns floating across the skies as well.

There have been a few in the past 2 years but last night the effect was absolutely stunning. Some of them were yellow or red balls others could be seen clearly as mini hot air balloons, the skies just seemed full! It was a wonderful sight and a brilliant start to the New Year - lets hope it continues. :)

Health, Wealth and Happiness (and the odd till-spit) to everyone.

    Jonty x :)

PS Any chance of having a smilie like this :xmassign: but that says Happy New Year instead? ;)

I think you should be able to but they probably don't scan.

Ask your local store to look in their coupon policy info sheet and/or check the tills by pushing the 'competitor spend' button and seeing if M&S comes up as an option. I THINK it's listed as one of the stores where they should accept the voucher. I am a bit rusty as I do not often go to Tesco now!

Do not just take 'no' for an answer. Customer Service desks and till trouts do not know best, the till does and the coupon info sheet from HO does.

Oh, and I have a couple of spares of these M&S vouchers if any regulars need one or two and want to pm their addy. :D
