Dr.Who-Who wrote: »OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! went to see "witch" doctor at the surgery. Doc wrote down 2 prescription for me. When to ASDA shopping ( even I am poorly I can still shop):D handed my prescription to the counter - me got a shock of my life!!!!
Counter : Do you have to pay for your prescription?
Me : Yes, unfortunately I have to.
Counter : That will be £14.40 please.
Me : What!!! The last time I paid was only £5.80:D. And that is for any amount of
items on the prescription note.
Counter : Not anymore I am afraid. Each item now cost £7.20. I can give you the eyedrop cheaper over the counter. That will cost you £12.80 in total please.
Me : £12.80:eek: guess I have to pay then:o.
No wonder, nobody go & see Doc anymore. Next time I shall be my own doctor & prescribe my own medics! with moc.0 -

Get another nectar card. That way they think you haven't been in for a while and send you a conditional spend set of coupons. Last one was 4 coupons (1 a week for 4 weeks) at £5 off a £40 spend.

Morning all
Morning jeferey and anyone else who's about,:hello:
Just trying to decide whether to clean the decking or risk the shops this morning :undecided - I don't really fancy either. DH has said he'll do one of them but my dilemma is, that although I think the decking would be less stressful for me (and possibly quite therapeutic), can I trust DH to get the best bargains at the shops?;)
Decisions, decisions :think:0 -
can I trust DH to get the best bargains at the shops?;)
Decisions, decisions
my answer is no!!!! they always come back with :-
1) extra item(s) that is not on the shopping list (also paying full price).
2) get the wrong stuff! (common knowledge)
3) does not look for bargains like we do.
