Well I uninstalled everything that said "Norton" because that is what I was told to do.... with the exception of NOrton system works which could not be deleted....0 -
stops anyone accessing your computer remotely, it also BLOCKS anything being sent out from your PC with yo allowing it...as in the case of a trojan trying to send data outEx forum ambassador

Leaving System Works is OK. This is an entirely seperate program from the Norton antivirus and firewall. You can still keep using system works after uninstalling the rest. There are some very handy features in this program.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

So I should download a FW??? Which one? and why cannot I use the Symantec one? It was OK before and suddenly started crashing with whatever I want to open.... neither browser would work and if they do open I only see strange signs...
