o2 advice please

im on o2 pay and go and today(21st Nov) is my Anniversary date and i had £10 credit for them to take for my new month Allowance which has been taken and ive got my new allowance but i was using the internet at just after midnight and got a text saying that i wont have to pay any more to use the internet today and all it will cost is a £1 which they have taken from my credit so now as i had £11 credit on and they taken the £10 which im ok about but why have did i have to pay this £1 when they were to take the £10 for new allowance and now i cant send any texts as i have no credit even that i have 12000 texts from the £10 credit they have also taken.

i take it you have to have so much credit to send texts even if they are taken from my allowance?

I just dont get why they took the £1
