Problems with HTC Smart!!
Options
I have a HTC Smart (this one) with a Vodafone SIM. It is unlocked for any network.
I cannot send or receive picture messages and i can't link it to my email account. I can get on the internet though.
I have spent the last 2 hours talking to various vodafone 'experts' and they just keep directing me to settings for the Wildfire, which is no good as i do not have from section 21!!!
Can anyone help? 1 person at Vodafone told me they have no idea!
Thanks in advance

Try this guide for the HTC Tattoo:

OR try this (it's for O2, but change the details as required for Vodafone)

Done that but it says 'unable to send message'?. Also when i try to link my email account it says 'Authentification failed. Please verify your username/password. I know they are both correct??0

Are you on a contract SIM or Pay as you go SIM?
You might have to call vodafone to make sure the service is activated on your SIM card.Laters

Hi there kms26,
Thanks for your post regarding MMS on your HTC Smart.
Unfortunately, we don't range this handset so we don't have the settings for this particular device. This in turn means we can't guarantee that MMS will work on the Vodafone network for this particular device.
However, I'll be delighted to have a look at your Vodafone account to make sure that MMS is provisioned. Once this is confirmed, we'll be able to direct you from there.
If you're atill having problems sending and receiving MMS, then follow this link and get in touch with our team. All you need to do is include the code WRT135 in the subject field and include a link back to this thread and we'll be in touch as soon as we can.
Kind regards,
LeeH
