Cheapest way of getting sky sports.

I only require digital tv as at the moment I'm happy with o2 broadband & my telephone provider.

At the moment I watch digital tv using a freesat card in my old sky box. Been quite a few years since I had a subscription with sky.

The only channels I want extra are the sport channels, but am aware I will have to sign up to a package deal.

Can anyone advise who is offering the cheapest service? I telephoned sky today & they could do it for £39.

Top Up TV via Freeview, if your TV has a CAM slot.
Starting at £19.99 for Sky Sports 1, or £29.99 for 1 and 2.

Don't think you can get Sky Sports add ons via Freeview/top up TV using CAM slot -think you have to buy or have a box with a Top up slot - didn't Sky put the kybosh on the CAM slot idea as it could make the card "portable" between TVs ??

Not sure-I cancelled my sub before Sky Sports was an option. But since they still offer a free CAM slot module as an option when you go through the set up menus, I don't think so. Maybe they have introduced some other way of pairing the card?
