Just tried out Admiral with a Nissan Micra, adding an experienced driver and put that I was 30 and it came to £1158, adding another driver dropped it from £1468
Thanks it's looking a lot better!0 -

That's higher than my first year cost me as a 20 year old female - mine was £1070 on a 1994 VW Golf, interestingly I changed my sex to Male on the quote form to see what difference it would make and it added £1000 to the cost! Having a years no claim dropped it down to £690 and I'm hoping that next year it will be about half that again.0

Crumbs, mine was about £380 at age 23 on a 1.9 diesel Fiesta, and I was annoyed cos AA quoted me £600. But that was 15 years ago.
It is all a bit of a lottery - Admiral are one of the most expensive for me. I'm with elephant at the moment, but used Dial Direct and Hastings when I was in my first few years. Hope you find something vaguely reasonable OP.0 -

Well I was getting silly quotes at around £2700 which is crazy
You know with quotes like that, it's not really that surprising there are so many uninsured drivers out there.0 -
