Hi everyone. I've been lurking on this board for a while now re: impending bankruptcy. It will happen 8th december for me.

Hi Everyone

Can i ask how you booked your court date? - did you just call up your local court and ask them for their first available date - my local court (how does deal with bankruptcy) only has a main switchboard number - do I need to call this number up - I feel a bit silly about being scared of this in case it's not the right place.

Hi feelsolow. I did not book my court date.My BR is being petitioned
by hmrc. With the obvious wealth of knowledge on this board i am sure you will get the best advice.

Ah Principleskinner, I am also being petitioned by HMRC and all the stress will be finishing on 16th Dec when my BR is done :-)

I'm pleased that your problems will finish on the 16th. Mine will have only just begun!
Foolishly, i kept the oh in the dark about my problems with HMRC and to paraphrase the great Warren Zevon.....Send Lawyers, Guns & Money..........the s**t has hit the fan!

hi there
call your local court and check they deal with bankruptcy in your area. they will let you know if it is an appointment system or drop in system. don't be worried about calling, it's something they hear every day. go on...you'll be fine x
