Hi all
My insurance is up for renewal and i was wondering if anyone can advise which ones are best to go for that include home emergency cover?

Most home emergency policies are an absolute joke ... e.g. if you have more than 1 bathroom, or a bath AND a shower, and the bath or shower suffer a leak, you're not covered ... BECAUSE it's not an emergency ... BECAUSE you can isolate the leak and stop it from causing any further damage.
I used to sell a well known home emergency policy for a well known bank's main insurance company.
Unless you're getting it for FREE and live in a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom house, it's practically useless.0 -

Just had a quote from Barclays for £275 including emergency cover or £235 without,thought these prices were pretty good,but if the home emergency cover is useless maybe i should leave this off.
