    Oh yes, you're right - I'm pretty sure they mentioned something about using Mozilla Firefox !! Does that sound more likely ?? :o

    I would check whether automatic updates have been turned on in Ubuntu, as most Linux distros (versions) tend to update all of the software, rather than just the operating system. This can mean that even if Ubuntu itself is completely up to date, there can still be quite large updates for other programs. Firefox has also had a fair few updates recently :)

    Yes, Firefox is the default browser in Ubuntu.
